The national Airlines of India on Monday advocated the move to ban 19 Indian understudies from getting onto its flight to San Francisco as of late. Air India said the choice was taken subsequent to being educated from US powers that the colleges to which they had secured confirmation, were under "investigation".
The 19 students from Hyderabad had booked a one-way ticket to San Francisco after they secured admissions in two US Universities, namely Silicon Valley University and North Western Polytechnic College.
Last week fourteen Indian students who had taken admission in the same universities were detained for 2-3 days in the US and quizzed by the FBI for hours. Air India said students who had earlier taken admission in these universities were not allowed to enter the US and they were deported back to India.
While both the Universities claim that they are not blacklisted, people who have taken admission in these institutes after paying lakhs of rupees have lost their money and are clueless about their future.
Here is a list of Universities that are blacklisted in the US.
