A Senior Actor Called Vidya Balan 'Moti' And She Had A Perfect Sarcastic Response!
Vidya Balan might have her bag full of awards and trophies, one thing that keeps coming back to her is her weighty issues! While she swept the silver screen with her acting prowess with ease, she has regularly come under scanner for her weight. In fact, many-a-times her weight and other things take precedence much to the actor's fury.
While Vidya has always maintained her stand that it's her body type and she doesn't regret not being 'size-zero', she has also taken all the criticism with dignity. So recently, when an actor commented and called her 'fat', Vidya had just the right response!
"A very senior actor who I met a couple of days back told me, 'Bahut moti ho gayi hai.' I wanted to turn back and say, 'Hormonal problem aapko bhi hai.' How dare he! How can somebody say this to someone. With due respect to his talent, it is ridiculous when you start objectifying women."
Vidya has played around her weight as and when her films demand. While she put on extra 12 kilos for her blockbuster film The Dirty Picture, she had to flaunt that belly as a pregnant woman in Kahani.
And when it is not about her weight, she also claims people around her, are more interested on her family planning matters. No wonder, we often keep hearing her pregnancy rumours. While Vidya prefers to laugh it off, she lets her body of work do the talking, rather than her "body-type". Respect!
